Simple life divers has been awarded PADI’s GOLD PALM 5 STAR RATING, From Jan 1st 2009 we will be starting our Instructor courses, Running them every month with our PADI course director Claes Gosvig. Claes is from Denmark and has been on koh Tao longer than most, with five languages under his belt teaching your instructor courses will be no problem. Prices and schedules will be up on our website shortly so all you ex dm’s keep an eye out and contact us for info.
Simple life divers has brought in a new schedule aimed to put the fun back into diving on KOH TAO!!!
All PADI Open water courses will be operated with morning dives to avoid the afternoon crowds that koh Tao has become famous for. This means all you students will have more afternoons to spend on the beach or checking out some of koh Tao’s sights.
Advanced courses and Certified divers will be scheduled with the diving in the afternoon to enable us to get out to the better sites that koh Tao has to offer, Daily Chumphon trips and Southwest trips all in one afternoon so you can relax and have a lie in on your holiday!

Koh Tao is situated in the Gulf of Thailand, The island itself is only 21 km2 and has a neighbouring island called Koh Nang yuan.

There are numerous beaches, bays and dive sites on Koh Tao all perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving with an abundence of tropical marine life that varies from Butterflyfish, Parrot fish, Clownfish(nemo) to the bigger Trigger fish, Giant Barracuda, Groupers, Reef Sharks and the WHALE SHARKS.
Koh Tao has grown in the last few years and now boasts three major banks in the town and ATM’s all around the island. Pharmacies’ and Internet cafes’ are widespread and a wide choice of restaurants that offer Thai , Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, French and English Breakfasts to name a few. Fresh seafood is also popular at Simple Life with their daily beach BBQ and The Brother restaurant has all the Live sport.

From Bangkok
From Bangkok you can fly with www.bangkokairways.com , they operate up to 18 flights a day from the capital, Koh Tao is a comfortable 2 hour journey from Koh Samui. The departure time from Samui is 8am arrive at 10am, or 12:30pm depart arrive 2:30pm.
You can also come down by bus and boat, Buses depart twice daily from the Khao San road, depart 6am arrive Koh Tao 2:30pm, or depart 9pm arrive 10 am next morning. The tickets are available at most Bangkok travel agents, and the boat journey is included in the price. You can contact our booking office located at the D+D inn, Khao san road for further information.
By train you will have a longer wait at the ferry ports but you can get over night trains that depart daily from Bangkok, Check with the local travel agents about prices and times as these tend to vary from time to time.
