PADI Open water course
The four day open water course is comprised of three parts, Academics, Shallow water training and four open water dives. Simple life divers has a maximum number of four students per group, Day 1 is the first academic session lasting about three hours watching videos.

Day 2 is a confined shallow water session either at one of Koh Tao’s bays or in the pool where you practicemore than 20 mask skills, alternate air source and basic buoyancy skills to make you as comfortable as possible before the deeper dives.

Day 3 starts with the last academic session in the morning with videos,quizzes and the final exam. Once you have had your break for lunch its on the boat to go to one of koh tao’s beautiful bays for the first two open water dives with some more skills to practice to a maximum of 12 metres depth.

Day 4 Final two dives of the course to a maximum depth of 18 metres, We will take you to one of koh Tao’s best dive sites, Chumphon Pinnacle, where you will dive with Giant Barracuda, Groupers, Black tip reef sharks and if your very lucky, The Whale shark. An underwater videographer will accompany you as you star in your very own diving movie, After the dive you will get the chance to watch with no obligation to buy it!!

Now you are a fully certified PADI Open water diver licensed to dive to a depth of 18 metres anywhere in the world!

PADI Advanced open water course
This course can be conducted over two or three days and consists of five dives, Two of the dives are mandatory, DEEP and NAVIGATION, While the other three are dives of your choice, The choices are; Night ,Peak performance buoyancy, Fish ID, Photography, Naturalist, Multi level and Computer, Search and recovery and Diver propulsion vehicle. Some of the dives will be charged at an extra cost for the rental of specialist equipment.

On your Deep dive you will dive to 30 metres and see the difference of narcossis and the marine life , we have some tests for you to do to see the effect of pressure on related objects, then we will explore the site and make a slow ascent back to the boat.

The Navigation dive will teach you how to use a compass and timing devices to enable you to safely navigate around dive sites using Depth, Contour, Coral formations and other natural techniques so getting back to the boat will be made easy!

PADI Rescue Diver course
The Rescue course does require you to have a valid first aid certificate, if you don’t, we can offer you the PADI Emergency first response course, Conducted over a full day you will be learning to assess situations, Check for breathing, Circulation, Spinal Injuries and serious bleeding. Then after you have completed all the practical training there is an exam to sit.

The rescue diver is conducted over three days, academic sessions and videos on the first day with water work introduced on the second day, Covering topics like tired and panicked divers to unconscious divers in the water, Self rescue and diver stress, diving first aid, Emergency management, Missing diver procedures, Various exit techniques. Once you have practiced all these it is time for your final rescue scenarios and assessment.

PADI Divemaster course
The first step on the professional ladder, You will be taught how to Lead certified divers, Assist instructor on course training, organizing logistics and conducting scuba reviews for certified divers who need to refresh thier skills.

When you enrol on your divemaster course you will need a minimum of 60 logged dives to finish, But we would prefer you to have upwards of 100 logged, The more dives you do the more experienced you become and also the more employable. When you are assisting our instructors on courses you will get the chance to work with most of them to pick up the best techniques used for dealing with students who might be having problems, and helping them overcome thier problems or fears.

As a fully qualified PADI divemaster you can go anywhere in the world and find employment, At simple life we are always looking for the very best divemasters to employ, The harder you work during the course the more likely we will ask you to stay on and work, To be a great divemaster one of the most important skills is interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

PADI Discover scuba diving
This is a one day introduction to diving, First off is a thorough briefing explaing the basic skills, Safety procedures and what marine life you are likely to see. The first dive we will head out to a shallow bay and practice clearing your mask and regulator under the close supervision of your dive instructor, then you head out in the bay(with the instructor) to have a look at the underwater world.

This course is conducted in the afternoons and consists of skill session and extra dive.
